captivating book for ifants, 2010-09-06
This book is educational and eye catching to a young infant. The vivid contrast captivated my baby's attention. I could read the book to her over and over again while she seemed to never tire of the visual stimulation. I took a psychology class that recommended this book with the professor touting it from his own experience. He said that the high contrast images help the baby to see the pictures very clearly and keep them interested. I bought the book when my baby was born and lo and behold, he was right! Highly recommend it. It's a great book to read to your child so they can really study the pictures.

This may be a simple book, but the colors are perfect for infants to focus on. My 3 month old loves looking at the pictures in this book while doing tummy time. He especially loves the page with the cat on it.

My son is almost a month old, and absolutely loves this book. When we hold it up in front of him, he just gazes back and forth between all the pages. It really keeps his attention very well. I will buy this book for any future baby showers I attend to give as a gift.
Wonderful first book, never gets old, 2010-07-09
My son is 6 months old now, and we have been reading this book together at least three times a week since he was about 2 months old. IT NEVER GETS OLD. At first he would just stare wide-eyed at the pictures. Now he tried to hold it himself and touches each picture. He has a favorite page, the children's black and white faces, which always makes him smile. I am telling you this book is wonderful for infants, and is a lifesaver when your baby is grouchy... pulling it out always makes my baby smile and kick his feet, he is so excited to read it. A must for every parent of a baby.

This book is just absolutely perfect for keeping the attention of very little ones! I got it when my son was about a month old, and he still likes to look at it sometimes now that he's 10 months!
